Natural Ash veneer
Ash is one of our most valuable deciduous trees and is found in riparian forests and along streams and rivers. The very elastic and shock-resistant ash is well known because of its use for tool handles and gymnastics equipment. The ring- and coarse-pored wood shows a typical and expressive character. Due to clearly separated annual rings, its texture is distinctively figured on the tangential surfaces and streaky on the radial surfaces. The sapwood and heartwood has a whitish to whitish-yellowish or white-red colouring.
The wood species ash is available in the engravings TX, T4, T1S and T1L.
Natural Oak veneer
The oak was considered a sacred tree by many civilized peoples and was particularly valued for its size, hardness and longevity. The oak has a medium coarse texture and often has an irregular or cross-grained grain. In addition, the longitudinal surfaces show beautiful flattening or stripes, which give the light yellow to medium and dark brown coloured wood a decorative touch. The large and wide rays of wood emphasize this decorative character as vivid mirrors or spindles.
The oak wood is available in TXM, T4M, and T1L engravings. These engravings are slightly larger than TX and T4 on the other wood species.
Natural Walnut veneer
Walnut, which belongs to the noble deciduous woods, is known for its historical use for high-quality furniture and objects in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. This beautiful noble wood has a rich grey-brown to chocolate-brown, also reddish-brown colour with a strong sapwood area which is usually adjusted by steaming. The colour contrasting annual rings produce a striking floral or stripy texture. Numerous variations of the veneer appearance are created by differently pronounced almost black colour stripes.
Walnut is available in the engravings TX, T4, T1S and T1L.
Natural beech veneer
If Germany has a genuine World Heritage Site, then it is its extensive beech forests. This popular furniture wood has a simple, almost purist texture and, when left undamped, it appears almost white. Narrow and darker late wood clearly marks the growth zones and draws a light, visually stimulating grain on the tangential surfaces.
The wood species Natural Beech is available in the engravings TX, T4, T1S and T1L.
Wood species Fineline, design walnut
This is a decorative multilaminated real wood veneer. The stripy veneer pattern is due to the manufacturing process. The logs are peeled and the resulting veneers are glued into a block after a staining process. This block is then sliced to produce the finished fineline veneer.
Fineline walnut is available in TX, T4, T1S and T1L.
Fineline Light
This is a decorative multilaminated real wood veneer. The stripy veneer pattern is due to the manufacturing process. The logs are peeled and the resulting veneers are glued into a block after a staining process. This block is then sliced to produce the finished fineline veneer.
Fineline Light is available in TX, T4, T1S and T1L.
